Senior Data Analyst, Trading

About the role

Binance is seeking a Senior Data Analyst to join its Trading Business Unit. You will work closely with trading, operations, and product teams, turning massive data sets into actionable insights that support fast‑paced, high‑stakes decisions.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement end‑to‑end data pipelines, visualisations, machine‑learning models and experiments for the Trading business.
• Analyse and interpret petabyte‑scale transactional, operational and customer data using proprietary and open‑source tools.
• Translate complex analytical findings into clear visualisations and concise recommendations for traders, operations staff and executives.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to ensure data‑driven decision making aligns with business objectives.

Required profile

• Degree in a quantitative discipline (Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Engineering, Life Sciences, etc.).
• Minimum 3 years of full‑time experience in analytics or data science.
• Demonstrated experience with trading or financial derivatives (hard requirement).
• Strong curiosity to uncover trends and the ability to explain technical concepts in simple language.
• Prior consulting or client‑facing transformation experience is a plus.

Required skills

• Analytical software such as R or SAS.
• Data‑visualisation tools like QlikView, Tableau or Power BI.
• Relational or graph database tools (SQL, NoSQL, Neo4j).
• Programming languages: VBA, C++, Java, Python.
