Sales Engineer - Video and Audio Solutions

About the role

Axis Communications is hiring a Sales Engineer in Taipei, Taiwan, reporting to the Technical Manager. The role provides technical designs and solutions throughout the sales cycle so partners and customers understand the full value of Axis video and audio solutions, and helps grow the business together with the Sales team. It also builds awareness of Axis products through webinars, industry networks and training. The role joins the Axis Global Sales Engineer community in regional APAC and HQ in Sweden, and may involve domestic and international travel.

Key responsibilities

• Provide internal and external assistance during the sales process, including delivering solutions and demonstrations to customers
• Develop technical written presales material
• Be proactive in new business opportunities when communicating with partners
• Work with integrators and technology partners during the project sales process
• Collaborate across departments to deliver the best outcomes for partners
• Build and deliver technology and customer-specific training, and support trainers in hands-on workshops
• Give technical updates to partners and attend industry trade shows and events representing Axis
• Provide on-site troubleshooting support

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in computer engineering, network engineering, computer science, information systems or similar
• Ideally experience in a customer-facing pre-sales role in network video and/or physical security markets
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, able to build and maintain customer relationships
• Self-motivated team player with good organisational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities

Required skills

• Good knowledge of networking, IP-based technologies and applications is desirable
