Regional Quality Director

About the role

The Regional Quality Director leads the manufacturing quality strategy and execution across multiple sites, ensuring product excellence, reliable production, and high customer satisfaction. This senior leader works closely with Operations, Engineering, Supply Chain, R&D and other cross‑functional teams to embed quality into daily processes and drive continuous improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement manufacturing quality strategies aligned with operational goals and customer expectations.
• Lead and mentor quality engineering teams to improve product reliability, process capability and overall quality performance.
• Integrate quality leadership into daily manufacturing decisions, audits, CAPA, change control, risk management and quality reviews.
• Partner with Operations, Engineering, Supply Chain and R&D to resolve quality challenges and enhance product performance.
• Maintain and continuously improve site quality procedures in line with the corporate Quality Management System (QMS) and regulatory requirements.
• Use quality data, analytics and performance metrics to identify improvement opportunities and support data‑driven decision‑making.
• Serve as the primary quality interface for customers, supporting audits, escalations and improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical/Electrical Engineering, Materials Science or a related technical discipline; Master’s preferred.
• Minimum 15 years of progressive quality leadership experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Proven ability to lead large, complex quality teams and influence stakeholders across a multi‑site operation.
• Strong data‑driven mindset with a track record of delivering measurable quality improvements.
