Quality System Specialist

About the role

Supermicro is seeking a Quality System Specialist to support and enhance its Quality Management System (QMS), Environmental Management System (EMS) and Information Security Management (ISM). The role involves close collaboration with all departments to ensure ISO compliance and continuous improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Support implementation, maintenance and improvement of QMS, EMS, ISM and related procedures.
• Plan, execute and follow‑up on company‑wide internal audit programs, including reporting and corrective actions.
• Assist external audits by notified bodies, regulatory agencies and third‑party auditors.
• Manage day‑to‑day ISO activities and projects, coordinating with all functions.
• Coordinate corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) in response to audit findings, regulatory inspections and customer complaints.
• Perform document control tasks using an automated documentation system, ensuring training, review and compliance.
• Review ISO‑controlled documents for adequacy and compliance.
• Gather, trend and report performance indicators to management.
• Serve as process owner and subject‑matter expert for QMS, EMS, ISM, CAPA, complaint handling and internal audit.
• Support automation projects that optimize QMS, EMS and ISM effectiveness.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
• 2‑3 years of experience in quality systems, preferably in manufacturing or high‑tech environments.
• Experience leading quality and environmental management system audits in semiconductor/electronics, pharmaceutical or medical device industries.
• Working knowledge of ISO standards such as ISO 9001, ISO 13485, ISO 14001, ISO 27001, AS9100, TS16949.
• Strong influence and communication skills, able to work across functions, customers and suppliers.
• Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Strong computer and analytical skills.
