Quality Engineer 2

About the role

As a Quality Engineer 2 at Lam Research, you will ensure that manufacturing processes and products meet rigorous quality standards. You will design, implement, and maintain quality assurance activities within the company’s Quality Management System (QMS) and support continuous improvement across production lines.

Key responsibilities

• Lead planning and execution of projects to obtain and maintain ISO certifications.
• Act as primary liaison for corporate and group audits, aligning local operations with global quality strategies.
• Conduct regular shop‑floor audits to verify compliance with Control Plans and Work Instructions.
• Organize mock audits to identify gaps and prepare teams for official inspections.
• Maintain Quality Manuals and SOPs to ensure ongoing ISO and corporate compliance.
• Develop and deliver quality‑related training for new hires.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field with at least 2 years of related experience, or an advanced degree.
• Strong understanding of ISO standards and quality management principles.
• Ability to analyze production data, identify trends, and drive corrective actions.
• Excellent communication skills for cross‑functional collaboration.
