Project Scheduler

About the role

Turner & Townsend, a global professional services company with over 22,000 people in more than 60 countries, is hiring a Project Scheduler in Taipei. The role manages project planning and scheduling so that construction projects are delivered on time and to quality, working closely with the Project Manager and stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Work with the Project Manager and stakeholders to define scope and sequence, and advise the Project Manager while acting as the main interface with Project Controls
• Ensure construction projects follow global procedures and standards
• Help coordinate Lessons Learned sessions with all stakeholders
• Consolidate Weekly and Monthly Project Reports (WPR/MPR)
• Monitor contractor schedules in Primavera P6 or MS Project and host weekly reviews of schedule, manpower and productivity
• Review contractors' progress measurement methods and reports by discipline, and develop overall progress charts aligned with company procedures
• Identify risks and opportunities to meet client timelines, and advise management on mitigation plans weekly or monthly
• Deliver the as-built schedule within 30 days after the final milestone

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering or a related field
• 5+ years of experience in project planning, scheduling or project controls
• Familiarity with greenfield and brownfield construction processes and standards

Required skills

• In-depth knowledge of Primavera P6 and MS Project, plus MS Excel
• Understanding of CPM, float analysis, WBS, resource leveling, EVM, baseline comparison, S-curve analysis and recovery schedules
