Senior Project Manager - Construction Projects

About the role

Turner & Townsend, a global professional services company with over 22,000 people in more than 60 countries and majority-owned by CBRE Group, is hiring a Senior Project Manager in Taipei. The role leads the execution of construction and workplace projects, ensuring quality, cost, safety and scheduling objectives are met, while coordinating stakeholders and managing site operations.

Key responsibilities

• Support junior team members, help onboard new members and build a positive, collaborative team culture.
• Coordinate clients, consultants, contractors and suppliers, run stakeholder meetings and reports, and resolve issues.
• Lead project management so that quality, cost, statutory compliance, safety, environmental standards and schedule are met.
• Manage the master programme, including materials and long-lead items, and keep weekly work plans, look-ahead schedules and inspection timelines up to date.
• Plan and organise statutory inspections and ensure timely approvals.
• Monitor progress and quality with site teams, enforce safety standards and support project administration.
• Oversee external consultants and multidisciplinary teams, act as the main liaison and hold regular progress meetings.
• Produce project reports and prepare schedules using Microsoft Project, Primavera P6 or Excel, including baseline setting and critical path analysis.
• Manage procurement for consultants, including drafting scopes, evaluating bids and negotiating contracts.

Required profile

• Degree in construction-related fields (project management, construction management, design, engineering) or equivalent.
• At least 7 years of experience in project management or construction projects.
• Proven track record leading large-scale, high-complexity construction projects.
• Strong communication, leadership and people-management skills, and business acumen representing clients' interests.
• Experience in client-facing roles involving value management, value engineering and life-cycle costing.
• Native-level Chinese and fluent business English.
