Production Operator I

About the role

Join Greene, Tweed’s Chemraz production line as a Production Operator I. You will work in a clean‑room environment, handling molds, operating equipment and ensuring products meet strict quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Store, retrieve, assemble and clean molds for production.
• Load and unload ovens.
• Operate mill and extruders to manufacture preforms.
• Operate presses, perform deflashing and inspect parts.
• Set up and finish trim parts.
• Conduct final inspection using gauges, micrometers and other measurement tools.
• Record all production information in the GT data collection system.
• Maintain a clean, tidy and safe work environment free of harmful elements.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to read, understand and follow work instructions, SOPs and SPCs.
• Physical capability to stand, sit, lift and carry up to 25 lb and work in a clean‑room setting.
• Basic problem‑solving and low‑impact decision‑making skills.
• Strong focus on quality, safety and teamwork.

Required skills

• Operation of mills, extruders and compression presses.
• Mold handling and cleaning.
• Use of gauges, micrometers and other measurement instruments.
• Familiarity with SAP or comparable ERP systems.
• Data entry into GT production data collection system.
• Basic computer proficiency.
