Product Install Manager (RAPID E-Beam NPI)

About the role

KLA's RAPID Division is launching a next-generation E-Beam inspection platform and is looking for a Product Install Manager to lead its installations. You will manage a team of Product Install Engineers deploying these advanced E-Beam systems at customer fabs worldwide, working closely with Engineering, Manufacturing and Product Support during the product launch. This is a hands-on leadership role within a New Product Introduction (NPI) effort, with direct visibility to senior KLA and customer management. The position is based in Hsinchu, Taiwan, with up to 50% domestic and international travel to fab sites.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure timely, successful installation of E-Beam systems worldwide, including scheduling resources and managing the process from planning through monitoring after installation.
• Directly manage a team of Product Install Engineers, giving day-to-day direction, coaching and performance guidance.
• Coordinate in-fab installation and upgrade planning and support Engineering, Manufacturing and Product Support during early NPI deployment.
• Prepare and present regular installation status updates to KLA Service HQ Management, local Operations Management and Customer Management.
• Develop the installation program through strategic planning, capture lessons learned from each install and ensure installation performance meets plan.
• Escalate issues to the appropriate function group and collaborate with HQ and Tech Support on technical escalations.
• Manage cost through resource deployment, install case management and cross-charge management, aiming for on-time installs and quality.
• Review installation documentation, including eQuality checklists, NCs and pass downs, for accuracy.

Required profile

• Bachelor's or master's degree in engineering or a related technical field.
• 3+ years of work experience supporting comparable capital equipment for the semiconductor industry.
• 5+ years of experience supporting capital equipment installations in the semiconductor industry, with exposure to NPI programs or E-Beam systems.
• Proven project management and organizational skills from managing installations, upgrades or field programs.
• Ability to present technical status and project updates clearly to senior stakeholders.
• Willingness and ability to travel domestically and internationally for extended periods (up to 50%).
