Principal Business Marketing – Paid Search & SEO

About the role

We are looking for a senior leader to own Coupang’s paid search and shopping strategies in Taiwan. The Principal Business Marketing will drive growth across Google and Microsoft advertising platforms, optimizing spend to maximize incremental GMV and return on ad spend.

Key responsibilities

• End‑to‑end ownership of high‑budget Google Search (RSA, DSA), Google Shopping, Performance Max and Microsoft Advertising campaigns.
• Design and implement bidding calibration processes, applying multipliers to align bids with true incremental returns.
• Allocate daily budgets dynamically across brand, non‑brand, and shopping feeds based on margin, unit economics and demand spikes.
• Maintain 100 % account hygiene, including tracking parameters, bid caps, feed updates and negative keyword lists.
• Lead aggressive keyword acquisition and theme clustering initiatives to capture market share while preserving efficiency.
• Engineer catalog feeds and optimize product listings for Google Shopping and Performance Max.
• Collaborate with Analytics, Engineering, Finance and Category teams to ensure profitability and data‑driven decision making.

Required profile

• Strong analytical mindset with a proven track record of managing large advertising budgets.
• Experience scaling paid search and shopping campaigns in e‑commerce environments.
• Ability to work cross‑functionally and drive test‑and‑learn experiments.
• Deep understanding of auction mechanics, bid optimization and incremental ROAS.
