PR Manager – Greater China (Taiwan)

About the role

Appier is seeking a PR Manager to lead corporate communications across Greater China, focusing on Taiwan. The role will shape the company’s AI narrative, build media relationships, and manage reputation in a fast‑moving tech environment.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute the GCR PR strategy, including brand narrative, messaging architecture, campaign planning and performance measurement.
• Act as primary media contact and coach executives for interviews and high‑impact coverage in top business, technology and trade publications.
• Write and oversee corporate announcements, press releases, bylines and thought‑leadership pieces that highlight Appier’s AI expertise and milestones.
• Collaborate with Global Communications, Sales, CSM, Marketing, Product and AI Research teams to align regional messaging with global priorities.
• Build and maintain a network of journalists, analysts and influencers to generate continuous media buzz.
• Monitor media coverage, calculate share‑of‑voice and sentiment, and provide insights to refine PR tactics.
• Support crisis communications and reputation management, serving as the first point of response for sensitive issues.
• Guide social‑media content to ensure a consistent brand voice across LinkedIn, Meta and WeChat (via vendor).

Required profile

• 5–8 years of PR or corporate communications experience, preferably a mix of agency and in‑house roles at B2B tech or multinational brands.
• Native or professional fluency in Mandarin Chinese and strong business‑level English.
• Established relationships with regional business, technology and industry media ready for immediate activation.
• Sharp news judgment, crisis‑management instincts and the ability to lead through ambiguity.
• Independent, strategic thinker capable of influencing senior stakeholders in a matrixed organization.
• Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Journalism, Marketing or a related field.
