Medical Writer / Senior Medical Writer (Taiwan)

About the role

Emerald Clinical Trials seeks an experienced Medical Writer to research, write, and edit a range of clinical documents, including study reports, protocols, regulatory submissions, and scientific manuscripts. The role involves applying therapeutic expertise and drug development knowledge to support products for human use.

Key responsibilities

• Lead complex medical writing projects such as regulatory submissions and CTD modules.
• Liaise directly with clients on medical writing issues and present proposals at bid defence meetings.
• Interpret clinical and non‑clinical data to prepare technical reports.
• Provide senior review and guidance for documents prepared by junior staff.
• Develop training materials and deliver medical writing training to internal and external groups.

Required profile

• Post‑graduate degree in Life Sciences or Health‑related Sciences.
• 3+ years of scientific or medical writing experience.
• 2+ years in a pharmaceutical company or CRO with experience in complex clinical trials and submissions.
• Extensive experience in clinical study design, protocol development, and pivotal trial writing.

Required skills

• Proficiency with document management systems.
• Experience using authoring tools.
• Familiarity with collaboration platforms.
