Mechanical Engineer – Rotating Equipment Maintenance

About the role

Air Liquide Far Eastern (ALFE), a joint venture between Air Liquide and Far Eastern New Century Group established in 1987, is looking for a mechanical engineer to support its expansion in Taiwan. The position covers planning, coordination and maintenance of rotating equipment at the southern production sites.

Key responsibilities

• Preventive and corrective maintenance of rotating equipment: schedule planning, management, execution, result checks and improvement actions
• Update documents and drawings related to rotating equipment and manage contractors
• Control equipment maintenance budgets and expenditures
• Manage spare parts inventory and reliability management
• Build or update documents, forms and SOPs according to company and ISO standards
• Implement safety work procedures, risk analysis and contractor management

Required profile

• Degree in mechanical engineering or a related science and technology field
• More than 3 years of experience maintaining compressors, pumps and turbines or in plant operations
• Willingness to travel outside the county and to work partly outdoors
• Team player with a high adaptability
• Own vehicle required; company provides a car allowance

• Experience with rotating equipment in gas or chemical plants is an advantage
