About the role
Supermicro is looking for a detail‑oriented MB Testing Technician to join its engineering team. You will be responsible for ensuring the quality of incoming printed circuit board assemblies (PCBA) and maintaining stock items through engineering change order (ECO) upgrades.
Key responsibilities
- Perform Incoming Quality Control (IQC) – visual inspection and functional testing of motherboards, backplanes, riser cards, AOCs and other PCBA components.
- Execute ECO upgrades on all stocked PCBA according to documented procedures.
- Collect and record inspection results to support data‑driven quality analysis.
Required profile
- Minimum 1 year experience in computer or electronics manufacturing, preferably in IQC inspection.
- University degree or higher in engineering, mathematics, computer science, business or related fields.
- Proficiency in English, Malay and Chinese at a medium level (listening, speaking, reading, writing).
Required skills
- IQC inspection techniques.
- PCBA visual inspection and functional testing.
- ECO upgrade procedures.
- Data collection and documentation for quality control.
