Materials Controller – Façade & Curtain Wall Projects

About the role

The Materials Controller will own material planning, procurement coordination, documentation, and on‑site material control for façade and curtain‑wall projects. You will work closely with procurement, warehouse, site, and project teams to ensure materials are available, inspected, and documented according to project requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare material requisitions, plan requirements, and track material usage for curtain‑wall projects.
• Follow up on procurement and delivery schedules to ensure timely arrival.
• Coordinate incoming material inspection, acceptance, and documentation.
• Collect and maintain material certificates, test reports, samples, and technical documentation.
• Monitor material storage and stock levels at project sites.
• Support initiatives to minimise waste and improve material utilisation.
• Liaise with suppliers, warehouse personnel, and site teams to resolve delivery, quality, and material‑related issues.
• Maintain accurate material records, delivery documents, and project paperwork.
• Assist project teams with material‑related coordination throughout construction.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Materials Engineering, or related field.
• 2–3 years of experience in construction, façade, curtain‑wall, or construction material management.
• Familiarity with site material receiving, inspection, inventory control, and documentation.
• Strong organisational skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to coordinate effectively with suppliers, warehouse teams, contractors, and site personnel.
• Responsible, practical, and comfortable working in a project‑based environment.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
• Willingness to work on construction sites and adapt to project‑based arrangements.
