Manager, UEFI Firmware Development

About the role

Lenovo is looking for a seasoned Manager to lead its UEFI firmware development team in Taipei, Taiwan. You will drive the creation of platform‑unique firmware features for high‑end, edge, and AI servers serving key hyperscale customers in North America.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement platform‑specific firmware features for high‑end server products.
• Lead a cross‑functional team working with Worldwide Core Firmware, Hardware, Thermal, Power, I/O, and Product Assurance to deliver production firmware on schedule and with quality.
• Manage small engineering groups focused on firmware infrastructure, sustaining, and customer support.
• Attract, develop, and retain high‑skill project managers and firmware engineers.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, computer science, project or business management or equivalent experience; advanced degree a plus.
• 8+ years of program/project management experience with a solid product delivery record.
• 3+ years of direct management experience within a development organization (preferred).
• Knowledge of product development, procurement, supply chain, and manufacturing is a plus.
• Strong cross‑functional collaboration and excellent customer‑facing communication skills.
