Lead Engineer, Test Development

About the role

The Lead Engineer, Test Development will serve as the primary DevTestOps specialist for the engineering team. You will handle daily support requests, manage tool access, and design automated pipelines that enable fast, reliable delivery of software and hardware projects.

Key responsibilities

• Architect, build, and maintain secure, scalable CI/CD pipelines for diverse applications.
• Develop high‑quality Python scripts and tools to automate build, test, and deployment workflows.
• Create custom dashboards that give real‑time visibility across development, testing, and operations tools.
• Troubleshoot complex issues across the full stack, including application bugs and infrastructure failures.
• Collaborate with software development, hardware engineering, QA, IT, manufacturing, and other cross‑functional teams to streamline processes.
• Investigate infrastructure problems, manage virtual machines, and support Azure DevOps environments.

Required profile

• 4–8 years of experience in engineering support, DevOps, or test automation.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• Strong analytical mindset with a service‑oriented approach to keep internal customers satisfied.
• Ability to work in a normal office environment with extended periods of computer use.

Required skills

• Proficient Python programming.
• Experience with Azure DevOps, Git, Jenkins, and related CI/CD tools.
• Familiarity with Jira, qTest, and Google Enterprise tools.
• Knowledge of VM management, Black Duck, and build toolchains.
• Solid understanding of data structures, algorithms, and operating systems.
