Key Account Manager

About the role

Haleon, a consumer company behind brands such as Sensodyne, Panadol, Advil, Voltaren, Theraflu, Otrivin and Centrum, is looking for a Key Account Manager. In this role you promote and sell Haleon products to designated accounts, achieving sales and customer coverage goals while developing customer strategies and maintaining relationships. You work with the field team so that the business plan is executed well in stores.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver sales performance in line with company objectives: formulate an account strategy, negotiate and execute trade marketing activities, and ensure good product presence.
• Optimize in-store exposure by understanding customers' category and shelf-space approaches and improving merchandising.
• Contribute to profit targets by developing promotion plans, using rental and allowance resources, and negotiating contracts to save costs or grow business.
• Facilitate line extensions and new product introductions, including go-to-market strategy.
• Lead Joint Business Plan discussions, help customers manage Haleon inventory and shelf space, and provide market intelligence to the supervisor and marketing team.

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience in sales management; shopper marketing experience is a plus.
• Strong understanding of the FMCG industry and high-level business acumen.
• Ability to influence stakeholders across functions.
