IT System Engineer – Server & Virtualization

About the role

In this position you will focus on Microsoft Windows technologies together with VMware, Nutanix, Dell, Lenovo, Splunk and Cisco server platforms. You will define and implement Windows Server solutions with strong automation and hybrid‑cloud emphasis while ensuring operational excellence across multiple world‑class data centres.

Key responsibilities

• Provide day‑to‑day technology direction and operations for VMware/Nutanix HCI platforms and Dell, Lenovo, Splunk and Cisco hardware.
• Handle IT incidents and service requests within defined service‑level agreements.
• Monitor system performance metrics and take proactive actions to maintain optimal operations.
• Execute site expansion projects and global infrastructure initiatives.
• Design and propose architectural improvements for performance, high availability, scalability and disaster recovery.
• Participate in 24/7 on‑call rotation for operational support and escalation.

Required profile

• English proficiency TOEIC score above 650.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Engineering, Information Management or related field.
• Familiarity with scripting using Microsoft PowerShell and Linux shell.
• Experience with data‑analysis tools such as Splunk.
• Hands‑on experience with Dell, Lenovo or Cisco hardware; experience with VMware/Nutanix HCI and cloud‑native technologies (Kubernetes, Docker, OpenShift) is a plus.
