IT Security Technical Manager

About the role

TSMC is seeking an experienced IT Security Technical Manager to lead the design, review and optimisation of security across its public‑cloud, SaaS and network environments. The role will act as the primary InfoSec liaison with corporate, local and RSO IT teams to embed robust security controls.

Key responsibilities

• Design, review and optimise security architectures for public cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), SaaS services and Internet DMZ boundaries.
• Conduct comprehensive risk assessments on existing and new IT systems and cloud services, proposing mitigation plans.
• Collaborate with corporate, local and RSO IT teams to integrate security policies into daily operations and architectures.
• Lead security‑related projects, managing planning, scheduling, resources and delivery.
• Provide technical security guidance on cloud, network and SaaS integration to internal teams.

Required profile

• 15+ years of professional experience in IT and/or information security.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Computer Engineering or related field.
• Strong project‑management abilities and excellent communication skills.

• Public cloud security expertise (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• SaaS security integration and data protection.
• Identity management (SSO, MFA, SAML).
• Internet DMZ design, firewalls, network segmentation and boundary defence.
