Industrial Designer – Enterprise Systems

About the role

ISG Enterprise is seeking an experienced Industrial Designer to shape the next generation of enterprise hardware – servers, racks, and data‑center infrastructure that power AI, cloud, and modern computing. You will work on highly complex, modular systems where technical rigor meets design craft.

Key responsibilities

• Drive industrial design across dense, modular products from individual servers to full‑rack and data‑center deployments.
• Collaborate with mechanical and thermal engineering teams to resolve airflow, liquid‑cooling, structural, and manufacturability challenges while preserving design intent.
• Elevate AI‑enabled design workflows, model best practices, and share insights across the team.
• Partner with usability, CMF, design‑systems, and software teams to deliver cohesive end‑to‑end experiences.
• Translate complex technical architectures into clear, intuitive user experiences from installation through service.
• Take concepts through CAD modeling, CMF definition, validation, and production launch.

Required profile

• 8+ years designing complex, engineered products.
• Strong CAD expertise, preferably with Creo.
• Deep understanding of materials, manufacturing processes, and DFMA principles.
• Proven ability to work across compute and cooling architectures.
• Portfolio that demonstrates shipped, technically complex hardware.
• Hands‑on familiarity with AI design tools (generative imaging, 3D rendering, workflow automation) and curiosity about their future impact.

Required skills

• Creo (CAD)
• Advanced visualization techniques
• Materials and manufacturing knowledge
• Design for Manufacture & Assembly (DFMA)
• AI‑enabled design tools (generative image, 3D rendering, workflow automation)
