Senior Visual Merchandiser / VM Lead

About the role

The Senior Visual Merchandiser is a key creative and commercial leader within Aesop Taiwan’s marketing team. You will translate global brand directives into locally resonant visual experiences, ensuring every physical touchpoint reflects Aesop’s aesthetic standards while driving commercial performance.

Key responsibilities

• Interpret and adapt global visual concepts into in‑store installations that suit Taiwan’s cultural and business context.
• Lead the visual execution of marketing and CRM events across all store formats, maintaining storytelling coherence.
• Oversee end‑to‑end production of printed materials and POSM, from briefing through installation, safeguarding brand standards.
• Develop and implement in‑store display strategies aligned with business priorities and seasonal calendars.
• Analyse the impact of visual merchandising actions and provide data‑driven recommendations.
• Champion Aesop’s visual identity, conduct regular store visits, and act as final quality control for all VM output.
• Lead visual preparation for new store openings and renovations, including prop management and planograms.
• Mentor junior VM team members and manage VM budget in collaboration with the marketing lead.

Required profile

• 5–7 years of experience in visual merchandising, retail design or a related creative field, preferably for premium or luxury brands.
• Proven track record of working on international projects and managing cross‑market collaborations.
• Native‑level fluency in Mandarin and business‑level proficiency in English.
• Strong commercial awareness and ability to link visual execution to business performance.
• Experience mentoring or managing a creative team.
