Head of Accounting (Taiwan)

About the role

Lead the end‑to‑end accounting and financial reporting function for the Taiwan entity, ensuring accurate month‑end, quarter‑end and year‑end closes while complying with IFRS and local statutory requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee general ledger, accounts payable/receivable, fixed assets, intercompany and statutory accounting activities.
• Prepare and review monthly and quarterly financial reporting packages for regional and global headquarters.
• Manage the statutory audit process and act as the primary contact for external auditors, tax advisors and authorities.
• Ensure tax compliance and coordinate with internal and external tax advisors.
• Strengthen internal control environment in line with corporate policies and group governance.
• Partner with FP&A, Finance, Tax, Treasury, HR and business functions to support initiatives and drive finance transformation.
• Lead, coach and develop the accounting team.

Required profile

• Extensive experience in accounting and financial reporting within a multinational environment.
• Strong knowledge of IFRS, local statutory accounting standards and audit processes.
• Proven ability to manage cross‑functional projects and lead a team.
