Group Accountant

About the role

Synera Renewable Energy (SRE) is a leading renewable energy developer in Taiwan, focused on offshore wind projects across the region. We are seeking a Group Accountant to manage all accounting matters for the entities within the SRE group, based in Taipei.

Key responsibilities

• Support related accounting and tax activities.
• Manage periodic closing of management accounts, ensuring the integrity of accounting information.
• Assist in the preparation of financial statements and internal/external financial reports.
• Aid in evaluating short‑term cash‑flow forecasts.
• Facilitate annual audits, statutory accounting, and tax filings.
• Contribute to the development and enhancement of accounting systems and procedures.
• Address ad‑hoc accounting and tax requests.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting; CPA preferred.
• Minimum three years of experience in financial accounting.
• Strong presentation and interpersonal skills with fluent written and spoken English.
• Experience with ERP systems (SAP or Oracle) and familiarity with IFRS and Taiwan GAAP.
• Ability to work independently under tight deadlines and prioritize multiple tasks.
