Financial Controller – Accounting, Treasury & Planning

About the role

The Financial Controller will lead accounting, treasury and financial planning for all entities within the SRE Group. Based in Taipei, the role ensures robust financial operations, accurate reporting and effective risk management across the organization.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee all aspects of financial operations, including budgeting, cash management, forecasting and financial reporting.
• Implement group financial policies, procedures and internal controls to safeguard assets.
• Monitor and analyze financial performance, identify improvement areas and implement corrective actions.
• Manage the monthly accounting close process and produce consolidated financial results for the business unit.
• Ensure compliance with monthly/quarterly close accountabilities, procedures and maintain checklists.
• Prepare recurring financial reporting, commentary and analysis, including narrative summaries and presentations for leadership.
• Identify and execute opportunities to re‑engineer and improve accounting and financial reporting processes.
• Manage day‑to‑day cash flow, develop cash flow forecasting models and provide strategic recommendations.
• Implement working capital strategies and oversee corporate revolving credit facilities.
• Lead capital call processes and fund repatriation activities across the platform.
• Assess financial risks and develop mitigation strategies.
• Coordinate with external auditors and regulatory bodies to ensure compliance.
• Maintain a strong internal control environment in line with company policies.
• Manage global consolidation, ensuring accurate and timely reporting for multiple entities.
• Monitor foreign exchange impact and implement currency risk management strategies.
• Oversee implementation of new accounting standards, policies and procedures.
• Provide leadership for continuous improvement in record‑to‑report processes, standardisation and internal control efficiency.
• Lead and mentor a team of financial professionals, fostering a high‑performance culture.
