Finance Planning & Analysis Supervisor

About the role

B. Braun, a global leader in medical devices, is looking for a Finance Planning & Analysis Supervisor to drive financial performance, reporting and budgeting across its business units. You will play a pivotal role in delivering accurate financial insights that support strategic decisions in a fast‑moving healthcare environment.

Key responsibilities

• Review and evaluate the financial performance of the company and its divisions.
• Support month‑end and year‑end closing processes, ensuring timely and accurate reporting.
• Prepare monthly and annual financial reports, including sales, expense, and profit‑and‑loss analyses.
• Lead the budgeting and target‑setting process, monitor actual performance against budget, and provide variance analysis.
• Assist management and business teams with internal and external economic data analysis.
• Evaluate investment projects and business plans, and develop simulations for new business models.
• Review pricing terms with customers to meet profitability and strategic objectives.
• Provide financial advice by applying financial principles and developing recommendations.
• Stay current with financial regulations and best practices.
• Collaborate with regional finance and controlling teams on local initiatives.
• Supervise and coach junior accounting staff, helping resolve issues.

Required profile

• University or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in finance/accounting.
• At least 3 years of experience within the healthcare or medical‑devices industry.
• Ability to work cross‑functionally in a matrix organization.
• Strong analytical and structured thinking, with excellent communication skills.
• Independent, multitasking, and fluent in spoken and written English.
• Demonstrated leadership and interpersonal abilities.
