Finance Officer

About the role

The Finance Officer will ensure the integrity of the general ledger, manage regulatory and tax reporting obligations, and support the Finance Head on a range of projects and ad‑hoc initiatives within Crédit Agricole CIB.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain and control the ISIS GL system to guarantee accurate automated accounting entries.
• Interpret and apply head‑office accounting standards, identifying any required manual adjustments.
• Deliver timely and accurate local regulatory reports, including credit‑extension provisions and regulatory queries.
• Assess tax treatments for compliance and evaluate tax impacts of new products, handling queries from tax authorities.
• Execute audit activities such as annual financial reporting, corporate income tax declarations, internal self‑audits and regulator‑initiated audits.
• Assist the Finance Head with system enhancements, accounting principle changes, process improvements and other project requirements.

Required profile

• Proven experience in banking local reporting and tax treatment.
• Strong coordination abilities with internal clients and regulators.
• Capability to document and summarise complex analyses.

Required skills

• Proficiency with the ISIS general‑ledger system.
