Facility Gas & Chemical System Engineer (Regular/Mixed Shift)

About the role

Micron Technology, a global leader in memory and storage solutions, is hiring a Facility Gas & Chemical System Engineer in Tainan. The role ensures the efficient operation of utility fluid supply systems at the plant and is open to regular and mixed-shift schedules.

Key responsibilities

• Manage equipment supply capacity and maintain high-quality utility services
• Set maintenance standards, frequencies, procedures and risk assessments, and prepare contingency measures
• Develop operation standards, monitoring systems, reporting procedures and inspection routines
• Audit SCADA and SPC equipment regularly and adjust parameters as needed
• Take part in plant activities, support plant expansion projects and help plan regulatory audits
• Share standard methodologies across plants

Required profile

• University degree or equivalent experience, preferably in science and engineering
• Proven experience in contractor management and handling on-site emergencies
• Experience operating facility system equipment
• Ability to work independently with minimal mentorship and to work flexible hours
• TOEIC score of 550 or above
