Engineering Responsible - Security Systems

About the role

Keenfinity, a global leader in smart security and professional communications born from Bosch Building Technologies, is hiring an Engineering Responsible for its Taipei office, which hosts the Building Technologies team. The role works with project managers and teams to deliver engineering deliverables for each development phase, defines and optimizes system architecture, and leads engineers and ODM partners through product development.

Key responsibilities

• Co-work with project managers and the project team to deliver projects that meet targets.
• Deliver engineering deliverables for each development phase.
• Define and optimize system architecture for functionality and performance, generating technical concepts and solutions.
• Survey, evaluate and introduce new technologies into new designs.
• Organize, guide and collaborate with engineers and ODM partners on proposals, technical solutions, risk assessments and implementation.
• Coordinate worldwide, cross-regional and cross-functional communication on engineering topics.
• Report and update engineering status to management regularly.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Electronics, Control, Mechanical or Mechatronic Engineering.
• Over 5 years of experience as a project leader collaborating with electrical, mechanical, firmware/software and production engineering.
• Over 5 years of experience working with ODM suppliers.
• Strong logic, systematic problem-solving and good communication skills; fluent English.

• Firmware framework, electrical, mechanical and optical design.
• ARM-based embedded systems and system architecture around ARM-based SoCs.
• Networking products and IP security cameras.
• Design and development of camera products.
