BS&P Operations Data & Process Improvement Engineer

About the role

Veolia Taiwan is looking for a BS&P Operations Data & Process Improvement Engineer. The role owns the KPIs deployed in the Taiwan business unit, defines and stabilises them over time and provides first-level analysis of KPIs per P&L entity. It also liaises with the Taiwan group entity to explain main KPI deviations, working with the BS&P Asia team.

Key responsibilities

• Budget support: support the Taiwan BU's yearly budget, review budget or forecast figures proposed by its entities, assess the link between data and current and expected plant performance, and turn the yearly budget into 12 monthly budgets.
• Performance assessment and reporting: assess and report on the performance of the Taiwan BU.
• Decarbonisation and CO2 Net Zero roadmap: lead the CO2 Net Zero Roadmap of the Taiwan BU, prepare updates, liaise with the Asia BS&P team and supervise decarbonisation priorities with the BS&P Project Engineer.

Required profile

• Degree in Physics, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering or Environmental Engineering.
• 5+ years of relevant work experience.
• Fluent English; Mandarin highly recommended.
• Rigorous, analytical approach and good time management.

Required skills

• AI acumen.
• Preferred: familiarity with EneffCo (energy analysis software).
• Highly preferred: familiarity with chemical thermodynamics and mass balance.
