About the role
Snap Inc. is looking for an Electrical Engineer to support device development for its Specs advanced eyewear. The role involves hands‑on work at contract manufacturers and collaboration across firmware, software, thermal and RF teams.
Key responsibilities
- Support electrical engineering execution across development builds onsite at contract manufacturers.
- Perform failure analysis, debugging, root‑cause investigation and drive corrective actions.
- Test and validate designs and collaborate with cross‑functional teams to align on execution.
- Define, design, and review schematics and PCB layouts.
Required profile
- BS/BA in Electrical Engineering or related field with 4+ years of relevant experience.
- Willingness to travel up to 20% to China and the US.
- Strong fundamentals in electrical engineering and best practices.
Required skills
- Experience with Cadence Allegro and OrCAD Capture for schematic and layout design.
- Familiarity with stack‑up definition and component selection.
- Proficiency using lab instrumentation and test‑station development.
- Hands‑on debugging and root‑cause analysis capabilities.
