EHS Manager – Factory Safety and Sustainability

About the role

The EHS Manager will provide strategic leadership for Environment, Health and Safety across JTI's Tainan factory. You will ensure compliance with legal and corporate requirements while protecting people, assets, operations and the environment.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, implement and continuously improve EHS governance, policies, procedures and management systems.
• Lead risk‑management initiatives, identify hazards, conduct incident investigations and drive corrective actions.
• Drive environmental sustainability projects to reduce emissions, waste and resource consumption.
• Design and deliver training programmes to build EHS competence for employees, contractors and leaders.
• Maintain occupational health, safety and environmental compliance through safe work practices, PPE, chemical safety and emergency preparedness.
• Integrate EHS requirements into factory operations, projects and business planning.

Required profile

• Proven experience in EHS leadership within a manufacturing environment.
• Strong knowledge of local and international EHS regulations and standards.
• Demonstrated ability to lead audits, certifications and continuous‑improvement initiatives.
• Excellent analytical, investigative and problem‑solving skills.
• Effective communication and coaching abilities to promote a safety culture.
