Director, Government Affairs – Taiwan

About the role

NVIDIA is seeking an experienced Director to lead its government affairs activities in Taiwan. Reporting to the Head of Global Policy, you will shape and execute the company’s public policy strategy, building strong relationships with government ministries, think tanks, and industry partners.

Key responsibilities

• Track and analyze policy developments, providing internal recommendations and briefing senior executives.
• Develop and implement engagement strategies with senior policymakers and ecosystem partners.
• Collaborate closely with legal, sales, marketing, engineering, and public‑relations teams.
• Monitor AI, semiconductor, and digital‑economy regulatory trends in Taiwan and prepare summaries for leadership.
• Identify relevant outputs from trade associations, think tanks, and other policy influencers.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in political science, international relations, public policy or a related field.
• 15+ years of experience in Taiwan government affairs, public policy, corporate affairs, consulting or a related institution.
• At least 5 years of experience leading teams.
• Deep knowledge of Taiwanese regulatory processes and the broader regional geopolitical landscape.
• Extensive network across key sectors of the Taiwanese government and political system.
• Excellent written and spoken communication skills in English and Mandarin, strong judgment and diplomatic abilities.
• Proven organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple concurrent workstreams.
• Experience with AI, semiconductor manufacturing, digital‑economy or technology policy issues.
