Delivery Consultant - Cloud Architect

About the role

AWS Professional Services is seeking a Delivery Consultant – Cloud Architect to join its Taiwan team. In this hands‑on position you will work directly with enterprise customers across semiconductors, hi‑tech, manufacturing, public sector and financial services to design, build and deploy cloud‑native infrastructure and modern applications on AWS.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement AWS networking, compute, storage and security architectures for large‑scale enterprises.
• Develop cloud‑native applications and modernise legacy workloads using containers (ECS/EKS), serverless (Lambda) and micro‑services patterns.
• Build and maintain infrastructure‑as‑code using CloudFormation, Terraform or AWS CDK.
• Implement CI/CD pipelines, automated testing and DevOps best practices to accelerate delivery.
• Collaborate with customer engineering teams to migrate, refactor and optimise applications for cost and operational excellence.
• Produce technical documentation, runbooks and knowledge‑transfer material to enable customer self‑sufficiency.
• Share reusable patterns and lessons learned within internal communities of practice.

Required profile

• Hands‑on delivery experience with enterprise customers in cloud migration or modernisation projects.
• Ability to embed with customer teams and communicate technical solutions clearly.
• Strong problem‑solving mindset and commitment to operational excellence.

Required skills

• AWS core services (EC2, S3, VPC, IAM, etc.)
• Infrastructure‑as‑Code tools: CloudFormation, Terraform, AWS CDK
• Container platforms: ECS, EKS, Docker, Kubernetes
• Serverless computing: AWS Lambda
• Micro‑services architecture and design patterns
• CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices
• Automation and scripting (e.g., Python, Bash)
