Customer Engineer / Installation Engineer – Fresh Graduate Role

About the role

As a Field Service Engineer (Customer Engineer) you will be the direct liaison with customers, installing, maintaining and upgrading semiconductor equipment. You will use digital analytics for troubleshooting and perform both preventative and corrective maintenance on electrical, vacuum, mechanical, plasma, hydraulic and gas systems.

Key responsibilities

• Perform standard Tier I service activities independently and Tier II with assistance.
• Execute routine preventative maintenance within established timeframes and complete quality repairs.
• Communicate with customers to coordinate support plans and ensure smooth operations.
• Diagnose and resolve recurring technical problems, participate in escalation calls and verify system operational quality.
• Follow checklists, procedures and IP guidelines while using knowledge‑management systems.

Required profile

• Physically able to walk, stand, bend, lift up to 35 lb and work in clean‑room environments using PPE.
• Commitment to safety procedures and ability to work in noisy environments.
• Ability to read circuit diagrams and understand fundamental engineering theories.
• Strong communication skills for customer interaction and teamwork.
