Clinical Sales Representative - da Vinci Surgical Systems

About the role

Intuitive Surgical makes the da Vinci Surgical System, a robotic surgical device used by surgeons worldwide to improve precision and patient outcomes. This Clinical Sales Representative helps maximize the utilization of installed da Vinci systems in hospitals in Kaohsiung, working closely with the da Vinci Clinical Sales Manager.

Key responsibilities

• Help develop a sales plan tailored to the local market with the Clinical Sales Manager.
• Become a da Vinci expert across all primary operating room procedures and assist in building surgical teams.
• Work with senior hospital staff and key surgeons to integrate the da Vinci system at new customer sites and build a qualified lead funnel through presentations, events and get-togethers.
• Convert high-potential leads and drive training activities.
• Sell instruments and accessories through new product introductions and solution selling.
• Manage administrative tasks such as reporting sales and procedures, outcomes of sales activities and expense reports.
• Lead surgical teams through training sessions on system operation, OR integration and da Vinci applications, and act as a resource for guidance on using the system.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• At least 5 years of sales experience, including 2 or more years in healthcare sales.
• Proven track record in sales, achievement and leadership.
• Excellent interpersonal and persuasive communication skills.
• Preferred: success introducing new technologies to the market and knowledge of the operating room environment.

Candidates may be asked to show proof of vaccination against certain diseases, including COVID-19, depending on the role. Compensation includes base pay, incentives, benefits and equity, and the position may be filled at a different level depending on experience and qualifications.
