Clinical Research Physician – Taiwan

About the role

ICON plc is seeking a qualified physician to join its clinical research team in Taiwan. The role involves recruiting and screening volunteers, providing medical oversight for clinical trials, and ensuring participant safety throughout the study lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Recruit and screen healthy volunteers and patients for clinical trials.
• Provide medical support and oversight for the conduct of studies.
• Ensure the safety and welfare of participants during trials.
• Contribute medical input to study protocols, interim and final reports, and safety documentation.
• Assist project management in leading studies and liaise with sponsor companies from a medical perspective.
• Design, conduct, and interpret clinical pharmacology studies.
• Act as Principal Investigator and Sub‑investigator, accountable for the safe conduct of trials at the site.

Required profile

• Qualified medical doctor with experience in clinical research.
• Proven ability to design and interpret clinical pharmacology studies.
• Strong understanding of participant safety and welfare in clinical trials.
• Experience collaborating with sponsor companies and project teams.
