Banking Operations Officer

About the role

The Banking Operations Officer supports the Group Chief Operating Office by delivering high‑quality trust accounting and corporate security services for Wholesale Private Banking (WPB) customers. You will help ensure operational efficiency, regulatory compliance, and risk mitigation across daily banking activities.

Key responsibilities

• Perform trust accounting tasks including account opening, servicing, and closing for WPB clients.
• Control and manage transaction quality assurance to maintain accuracy and compliance.
• Process daily operations in the corporate security section, ensuring all security documents from wholesale customers are complete and well‑organized.
• Implement internal and external audit recommendations and address issues raised by regulators and Group Compliance.
• Monitor operational risk factors (people, process, system, external events) and take proactive measures to mitigate them.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree.
• At least one year of experience in consumer or wholesale banking operations.
• Strong English communication skills (reading, writing, speaking).
• Independent, proactive attitude with flexibility and a professional demeanor.

Required skills

• Proficiency with MS Office applications.
