Assistant Officer – Telemarketing Personal Loan Sales

About the role

We are looking for an Assistant Officer to join our Consumer Banking Group and drive outbound telemarketing sales of personal loans, cards and unsecured loans. You will engage potential customers, promote our financial solutions and deliver excellent service.

Key responsibilities

• Make outbound telemarketing calls to promote and sell personal loans, credit cards and other consumer banking products.
• Provide prompt and courteous customer service, handling inquiries and concerns.
• Achieve and exceed individual and team sales targets.
• Maintain accurate records of interactions and sales activities in the CRM system.
• Collaborate with the marketing team to develop effective sales strategies and campaigns.
• Stay informed about product offerings, policies and procedures to ensure accurate information is delivered.

Required profile

• 1‑2 years of experience in telemarketing or sales, preferably within banking or financial services.
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities to engage and persuade customers.
• Excellent problem‑solving and customer‑service skills.
• Proficiency with computer systems and CRM software.
• Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, target‑driven environment.
• Commitment to continuous learning and professional development.
