Assistant Officer – Telemarketing Personal Loan & Card Sales

About the role

As an Assistant Officer in the Consumer Banking Group, you will conduct outbound calls to promote a wide range of banking products, including personal loans, credit cards and unsecured loans. You will work towards achieving sales targets while delivering excellent customer service.

Key responsibilities

• Make outbound calls to prospective and existing customers to promote consumer banking products.
• Achieve individual sales targets and key performance indicators set by the business unit.
• Identify customer needs and recommend appropriate financial solutions.
• Ensure all sales transactions comply with regulatory standards and internal bank policies.
• Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and sales pipelines in the CRM system.

Required profile

• Prior experience in telemarketing, telesales, or direct sales, preferably in financial services.
• Strong verbal communication and active listening skills.
• Goal‑oriented with a proven ability to meet and exceed sales targets.
• Resilient and adaptable in a fast‑paced, performance‑driven environment.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and a commitment to customer service excellence.
