Applications Engineer (New Grad)

About the role

Monolithic Power Systems is seeking a recent graduate to join its Applications Engineering team in Taipei. You will work on power IC products, helping customers integrate and optimize our solutions while gaining hands‑on experience in a fast‑growing semiconductor company.

Key responsibilities

• Enhance and debug power IC products and execute system‑level IC road‑tests.
• Develop reference circuits, evaluation boards, datasheets, application notes and benchmark reports.
• Participate in product development, communicating with TME/DE/PE teams to define new features and revisions.
• Provide application support for key customers and field application engineers, including schematic and layout reviews.

Required profile

• MSEE or higher, majoring in power electronics.
• Basic knowledge of DC/DC and AC/DC converters, power devices and magnetic components.
• Average English proficiency in reading, writing and speaking.

Required skills

• Hands‑on experience with power circuit design or modeling (e.g., converters, inverters).
• Experimental skills using oscilloscope, power supplies, function generator, network analyzer, etc.
• Simulation skills with tools such as Simplis, Psim, SPICE.
• Ability to create technical documentation, including datasheets and application notes.
