About the role
Deloitte is seeking a Tax Specialist to support global employer services and tax matters related to executive mobility in Taiwan. The role involves assisting foreign personnel with permits, providing tax consulting, and supporting stock‑option plans.
Key responsibilities
- Assist in preparing work permits, visas and residence permits for foreigners in Taiwan and provide related consultations.
- Formulate personnel deployment policies and deliver consulting and tax planning services.
- Arrange meetings to introduce Taiwan tax regulations to personnel.
- Act as an agent for China's individual income tax declarations.
- Provide tax advice on stock option plans and calculate tax amounts subsidised by the company or employee.
Required profile
- University degree in business, foreign language or a related discipline.
- Fluent English (listening, speaking, reading, writing).
- Good judgment, communication and presentation skills; team‑oriented and detail‑oriented.
