Site Manager

About the role

Siemens Mobility is looking for an experienced Site Manager to lead the installation of a major rail signalling project in Taiwan. The role involves coordinating site execution, managing installation teams and local subcontractors, and working closely with international engineering and test‑and‑commissioning experts.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, organise and schedule site activities, logistics and installation teams in line with project milestones.
• Develop and execute daily, weekly and monthly installation plans, ensuring alignment with the overall project schedule (e.g., Primavera P6).
• Supervise site work, enforce quality, safety and environmental standards, and provide clear guidance to Siemens installation supervisors.
• Manage subcontractors, lead progress meetings, and ensure adequate manpower, tools and equipment are available.
• Serve as the primary interface between engineering and test‑and‑commissioning teams to guarantee smooth hand‑over.
• Monitor progress, control deviations, update schedules and conduct overall quality control.
• Identify improvement opportunities, share best practices with international teams and support knowledge transfer.

Required profile

• 7–10 years of experience in construction, electromechanical or infrastructure projects.
• Proven experience managing site teams and subcontractors.
• Strong ability to coordinate complex site activities and communicate with multiple stakeholders.
• Practical problem‑solving mindset with a hands‑on approach to site challenges.
• Excellent documentation and reporting skills.
• Experience in coaching and developing site teams is highly valued.
• Native Chinese speaker with conversational English.
• Willingness to work primarily day‑shift with occasional night work (4‑5 nights per month).
