Senior Field Applications Engineer

About the role

The Senior Field Applications Engineer will act as a technical leader, understanding customer needs and championing engineering investment to drive demand creation for Arrow’s solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Utilize advanced technical knowledge to influence customer designs and promote Arrow’s engineering and design services.
• Partner with sales teams across pre‑ and post‑sales activities, providing technical support and consulting.
• Conduct technical calibrations, research, and supplier trainings to support customer designs.
• Manage supplier and customer expectations, building relationships with key decision‑makers.
• Participate in strategic branch meetings, QBRs, and ArrowEDGE initiatives, organizing engineering customer events.

Required profile

• Typically a 4‑year degree with 2–4 years of related experience, or equivalent work experience.
• Hands‑on design experience or solid technical knowledge in FPGA/CPLD development.

Required skills

• FPGA and CPLD development
• RTL design using Verilog or VHDL
• FPGA EDA tool flow and timing closure
• Board‑level bring‑up and debugging
