Medical Affairs Manager

About the role

The Medical Affairs Manager will lead the Taiwan dermatology medical strategy, ensuring alignment with regional objectives and the local market landscape. This role provides scientific and technical support to cross‑functional teams and drives evidence generation and research initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, prioritize, and execute the Taiwan medical strategy and integrated plan for dermatology products.
• Provide timely technical and scientific support to brand, regulatory, pharmacovigilance, market access, sales, and other stakeholders.
• Support evidence generation planning and manage affiliate research studies.
• Manage the assigned budget and ensure compliance of promotional and non‑promotional materials.
• Build and maintain relationships with national thought leaders, HCPs, patient advocacy groups, medical societies, and payer stakeholders.
• Lead field medical activities, set MSL engagement priorities, and coach MSLs through regular visits and feedback.
• Respond to medical and scientific information requests, strengthening the company’s scientific presence.
• Partner with sales, marketing, and brand teams to enhance scientific understanding through presentations and updates.

Required profile

• Proven experience in medical affairs, preferably within dermatology.
• Demonstrated ability to develop and execute medical strategies aligned with regional goals.
• Experience managing budgets and ensuring regulatory compliance of scientific materials.
• Strong track record of building relationships with key opinion leaders, patient groups, and payer stakeholders.
• Ability to lead and coach Medical Science Liaisons (MSLs) and drive field excellence.
