Group HQ Legal Director – Global High‑Tech Leader

About the role

We are seeking a senior legal executive to lead our global legal function, reporting directly to the Board and C‑suite. The role will shape legal strategy across technology and manufacturing markets while supporting the company’s international expansion.

Key responsibilities

• Define and execute a global legal strategy aligned with corporate growth priorities.
• Advise the Board, executive leadership, and business units on complex commercial, regulatory, and strategic matters.
• Oversee worldwide compliance frameworks covering trade, IP, data privacy, competition law, and product liability.
• Lead high‑value commercial negotiations with customers, partners, and suppliers.
• Provide practical legal solutions for supply‑chain issues, balancing risk and operational continuity.
• Manage significant disputes, litigation, and regulatory actions with external counsel across multiple jurisdictions.
• Identify emerging legal risks and translate them into actionable business recommendations.
• Strengthen legal governance and cross‑functional collaboration to protect brand and enable innovation.

Required profile

• Extensive in‑house experience in multinational technology, manufacturing or industrial companies.
• Proven track record advising senior executives and Board members on complex legal and commercial issues.
• Deep knowledge of international legal and regulatory environments, including trade compliance, IP, competition, data privacy and product risk.
• Demonstrated ability to lead sophisticated commercial negotiations with global stakeholders.
• Commercially minded, solutions‑oriented, and able to balance legal protection with business growth.
• Strong judgment in high‑stakes disputes and cross‑border matters.
• Executive‑level communication skills; fluency in Mandarin and English.
• Decisive, resilient and highly accountable leadership style.
