Electrical Design Manager

About the role

The Electrical Design Manager leads all design aspects of high‑tech projects, both internally and with external partners. This senior position ensures technical standards align with project scope and works closely with the Project Manager and Regional Engineering Manager.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and supervise all design communication, set technical standards, and ensure alignment with the Project Manager.
• Manage design setup, checklists, and deliverable plans, providing regular status reports to senior management.
• Review project scope and design deliverables, plan manpower, and highlight gaps or inefficiencies.
• Establish and maintain the Project Engineering Execution Plan (EEP) and train the team on its implementation.
• Develop and keep up‑to‑date the Project Design Criteria/Basis of Design, lead change control, and maintain the design issues list.

Required profile

• Degree in Engineering (Master’s preferred); Professional Engineer status is a plus.
• 12–15 years of relevant experience, including at least 5 years in a leadership role.
• Extensive design experience in a high‑tech or multi‑discipline construction environment.
• Proven track record managing fast‑track projects and leading staff development.
• Familiarity with Taiwan local authority laws, regulations, and other country codes.
• Experience in change management, strategic planning, and project management.
