Controlling Manager

About the role

The Controlling Manager will lead the finance and controlling function, ensuring accurate periodical closing, reporting and analysis to support internal management and strategic decisions.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and ensure timely submission of periodical closing, reporting and analysis for internal management reports.
• Conduct financial analysis, variance tracking and provide insights to support business decisions.
• Lead business case simulations, cost‑benefit analyses for new products, initiatives and projects.
• Coordinate cross‑functional planning tools, monthly performance reviews, rolling forecasts and long‑term financial planning.
• Steer pricing, profitability, budget monitoring for incentive and campaign proposals.
• Partner with departments to manage overhead, cost KPIs and investment planning.
• Act as main contact for HQ controlling topics and ensure alignment with regional and local management.
• Identify and implement process optimisation opportunities within controlling functions.

Required profile

• 5–10 years of experience in financial and portfolio analysis, preferably in consumer finance or banking.
• Minimum 3 years of leadership experience managing finance teams.
• Strong analytical mindset with detail‑orientation and problem‑solving abilities.
• Ability to work independently, under pressure and adapt to changing priorities.
• Excellent cross‑functional communication and teamwork skills.
