About the role
The Inventory Planner is responsible for maximizing sales, margin and inventory across one or more departments by managing in‑season allocation from distribution centers to stores and online channels. Success requires translating quantitative and qualitative data into actionable strategies and building strong cross‑functional partnerships.
Key responsibilities
- Drive seasonal inventory allocation strategies that support product, investment and commercial plans.
- Execute initial inventory releases and ensure profitable in‑season replenishment across distribution centers, stores and online channels.
- Collaborate with Merchandise Planning, Merchandising, Logistics and Store Operations to balance size, pack and inventory pools.
- Lead promotional and markdown initiatives to meet brand financial targets.
- Manage basics forecast, allocation and service levels for assigned departments.
Required profile
- 3–5 years of inventory management experience.
- Four‑year college degree or equivalent.
- Excellent written and verbal English; Japanese is a plus.
- Ability to analyse financial and business indicators and turn data into actionable recommendations.
- Strong collaboration and influencing skills across multiple business partners.
