About the role

UPS is seeking a Delivery Operations Assistant to support daily package handling within its distribution network. The role involves physical handling of shipments, ensuring they move efficiently through loading, unloading, and sorting processes while maintaining safety standards.

Key responsibilities

Load and unload trucks and containers with packages.
Ship, receive, scan, sort, and stock parcels according to UPS procedures.
Operate heavy machinery when required to move goods safely.
Perform distribution activities while adhering to safety and quality compliance.
Assist with additional tasks assigned by supervisors.
